On January 23, CGS ORIS officially relaunched its Greater China Technology Demonstration Center together with the Sheng Training Center in Shenzhen.
The opening ceremony brought together industry association representatives, university experts and leading companies from across the printing sector. The event was supported by key organizations including the Guangdong Printing and Reproduction Industry Association, the Shenzhen Printing Industry Association and the Taiwan Chinese Printing Technology Society.
Mr. Li Jiong, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Printing and Reproduction Industry Association, opened the event with remarks on behalf of the association and congratulated CGS ORIS on the reopening of the center.
In his keynote, Bernd Rückert, CEO of CGS ORIS, emphasized the strategic importance of the Greater China region:

The event also featured a technical presentation by Andrew, Senior Technical Director at Zhongshan Hongxing Printing, titled:

The session sparked active discussion and highlighted the importance of process consistency as the foundation for successful color management.

The upgraded CGS ORIS Technology Demonstration Center and Sheng Training Center now cover a significantly larger space, expanding from 200 to 500 square meters, with a total facility size exceeding 800 square meters including office areas.
The center is designed as a comprehensive platform that combines technology demonstration and hands-on training.

Mr. Wei Yuchang, Chairman of the Taiwan Chinese Printing Technology Society, led a delegation to visit the Greater Bay Area. In addition to attending the ceremony, the group visited several leading companies and institutions, including Yutong Group, Pan Hu Design Laboratory, Shenzhen Baixinglong Creative Packaging, the Shenzhen Printing Industry Association and Shenzhen Polytechnic University.
The visit represents a starting point for deeper cross-regional exchange in 2026, with a shared goal of advancing innovation and cooperation across the printing industry.
