Bernd Rückert appointed CEO

Following the retirement of Jan de Maeyer, former head of Research and Development, who remains with the Company for high-tech systems analysis and programming projects, Bernd Rückert (48) has been appointed to the management team.

Bernd´s position as Managing Director, Technology and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) was confirmed September 1st. Reporting to him as members of the Management Board are Andreas Kämmerer, Business Development, Christoph Thommessen, Global Sales, and Jürgen Erler, Chief Financial Officer.

Bernd has served with CGS for over 21 years beginning as an Application Specialist. Moving quickly into the role of Product Manager, he was responsible for the support and future growth of the entire ORIS product portfolio and from 2009, as Product Marketing Manager, a newly established position as interface between product management and marketing, he has already played an important role in shaping the future of the Company.
